St. John Gospel Choir

The minister’s manual on the Liturgy says this about choirs:
“After the pastor, the choir constitutes the most important force in the effective worship life of a congregation.”
We take that responsibility seriously and work hard to support the ministry of St. John.

Who can join the choir?

Anyone who can SING!  Music-reading ability is helpful, but not required.  Singers should be available for most Thursday evening rehearsals (7-8:30) and whenever we sing at services.  Normally, we sing about twice a month (September through May), as well as ALL festival and special services: (Reformation, All Saint's Day, Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Palm Sunday, all Holy Week services, and of course, Easter Sunday).

The choir is one big happy family!
We love and support each other and ENJOY singing together. New members are ALWAYS WELCOME!
