St. John Lutheran Cemetery
About Us,
Our cemetery has been open to our church members since the late 1850's.  Over the years, we have expanded to multiple fields, including standard graves with either flat or upright headstones, our Columbarium Niches, our Urn Garden and our Veteran's field.  It is now our honor to open our beautiful cemetery to our community Lutheran churches, so that members of our neighboring Lutheran churches may find a resting place close to home, here in our cemetery.  We work diligently to provide a beautiful, maintained cemetery, where family and friends feel welcome and at peace.  We offer comfortable spaces such as our covered gazebo, for visitors to relax and spend time.

Our Fields and Options,
Our cemetery boasts six acres of beautifully landscaped and maintained burial fields.  We have seven open fields, most containing traditional burial plots as well as cremation burial plots.  While we have fields for flat headstones, we also have several fields that allow for large or double headstones.  In addition to the burial fields we have added a Columbarium, a wall woth 24 cremation niches, on each side, to hold single or double urns.  A beautiful marble stone on the outside of each niche is engravable, personalized, and sealed.  Our newest addition is the Urn garden, a large field with 3' x 3' spaces for single or double urn burials.  In the urn garden, we will place a specially designed angled granite headstone, whioch includes an all-weather flower vase and the urn.

Services,
We work with local funeral homes, vault and monument companies, and landscapers to ensure that your services are handled by a professional team.  When you purchase your burial plot, we will coordinate all apsects of the funeral service and burial with all parties, eliminating that stress from your family.  We will help with each step of your experience.  We have two areas to recognize members of our Armed forces, and our cemetery is home to veterans of all wars.  Additionally, we maintain the property throughout the year.  We keep the cemetery tidy by mowing, planting, and seeding; we handle snow removal so that our fields are easily reached in winter, and we prepare our grounds for each season.  We also prepare for high traffic holidays such as Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and Memorial Day.  Our cemetery is open 365 days a year for guests to visit their loved ones.

Our Mission and Pledge,
Our priority as a cemetery is to provide a dignified, beautful resting place for our Lutheran brothers and sisters.  Our cemetery board consists of men dedicated to the preservation of our beautiful grounds, to the dignity offorded to our clientele, and to the welcoming atmosphere our cemetey offers.  We are proud to open our gates to our Lutheran friends and neighbors from our community and look forward to helping the families of loved ones find a suitable resting place.
